Description of Work
This project consisted of the removal of underbrush, trees, and vegetation within the 20 acres adjacent to the Lewisville Dam. Work was performed in 3 phases. The under brushing phase entailed the cutting, removing and disposing of all woody vegetation less than 3 inches in diameter within the prioritized work area. The tree removal phase entailed cutting, removing and disposing of all trees 12 inches in diameter or less in designated areas within the site. Cleanup of cattails and sedges consisted of removal from within the 50 foot downstream area of each relief well and seepage collector discharge point fallout, while ensuring that positive drainage was maintained at all times.
